Depending on the product, when it comes to Blinds, Security Screens and Shutters for your new home, the earlier you can get the ball rolling, the better. First thing’s first; are blinds and window furnishings included in your house package?

Check your building contract to see which inclusions you’ve opted for. We’ve found that, for the most part, it’s up to the homeowner to source their own window furnishings, and that most basic inclusions packages do not include blinds, however, may include fly screens. If fly screens are included, it might be a good idea to think about if security is a priority. If so, this is a good time to speak to your builder about upgrading your fly screens to security screens.
